As a Lifeguard, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety of all swimmers. You will warn swimmers of improper activities or dangers and enforce pool regulations and water safety policies. Your responsibilities include:

• Administering first aid when necessary.
• Rescuing swimmers in distress or those in danger of drowning.
• Performing CPR and/or artificial respiration when required.

In addition to the above, the role encompasses a range of key responsibilities including:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the workstation and adhering to end-of-shift protocols.
• Arranging and cleaning pool and beach furniture.
• Providing towel and chair services to guests.
• Engaging with guests to ensure a polite and professional interaction.
• Monitoring the safety of watersports and maintaining an accurate record of pool use and chemical levels.
• Teaching swimming safety and methods to new swimmers.

We at Rakazeh Limited are looking for a professional swimming lifeguard to join our team. The successful candidate will take on multiple responsibilities related to the safety of individuals during swimming.

Main Responsibilities:

• Mastering diving and swimming skills.
• Executing rescue operations or retrieving or installing materials underwater.
• Cleaning debris and submerged waste and cleaning floats for floating docks.
• Spotting and maintaining hazards.
• Securing work hours for teams involved in maintenance and cleaning of docks and marine basins.
• Studying and monitoring marine conditions and communicating using sign language.
• Maintenance procedures for diving equipment and gear.
• Using and adjusting devices and tools used in diving.
• Collaborating and communicating with maritime workers and assisting them in performing tasks needed for diving operations.
• Sharing information and experiences and organizing and executing operations.
• Any other tasks that fall within the specialty of work that have not been mentioned.

Requirements:

• 3 years of practical experience in diving.
• A three-year diploma after high school in occupational health and safety or marine sciences or ports and maritime transport.
• The national license for professional divers.
• The ability to supervise diving, provide advice, and ensure the safety of personnel.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
