As a Lifeguard, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety of all swimmers. You will warn swimmers of improper activities or dangers and enforce pool regulations and water safety policies. Your responsibilities include:

• Administering first aid when necessary.
• Rescuing swimmers in distress or those in danger of drowning.
• Performing CPR and/or artificial respiration when required.

In addition to the above, the role encompasses a range of key responsibilities including:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the workstation and adhering to end-of-shift protocols.
• Arranging and cleaning pool and beach furniture.
• Providing towel and chair services to guests.
• Engaging with guests to ensure a polite and professional interaction.
• Monitoring the safety of watersports and maintaining an accurate record of pool use and chemical levels.
• Teaching swimming safety and methods to new swimmers.

We at Rkazah Limited are looking for a professional lifeguard to join our team. The successful candidate will have multiple responsibilities related to the safety of individuals during swimming.

Main Responsibilities:

• Master diving and swimming skills.
• Conduct rescues, extricate, or install materials underwater.
• Clean up debris and submerged waste and clean floating dock buoys.
• Detect and maintain equipment failures.
• Secure working times for teams performing maintenance and cleaning of docks and marine pools.
• Study and monitor marine conditions and communicate using hand signals.
• Maintenance procedures for diving equipment and gear.
• Use and adjust devices and tools used in diving.
• Collaborate and communicate with maritime workers and assist them in performing tasks required for diving operations.
• Share information and experiences and organize and conduct operations.
• Any other tasks within the scope of work that are not mentioned.

Requirements:

• 3 years of practical experience in diving.
• A three-year diploma after high school in occupational health and safety, marine sciences, or ports and maritime transport.
• National license for professional divers.
• Ability to supervise diving and provide advice and ensure employee safety.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
