Job Summary
The Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, creating personalized nutrition plans, and providing education and counseling to support recovery and overall well-being. The role requires close collaboration with rehabilitation specialists to ensure that dietary recommendations complement therapeutic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ dietary needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop individualized nutrition and diet plans tailored to patients’ health conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and families to support healthy eating habits.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation specialists to integrate nutrition into holistic care plans.
• Participate in awareness programs, workshops, and community outreach activities related to nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care in the Electronic Medical System (EMS).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and professional nutrition standards.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Licensing: Valid license to practice as a Nutrition Specialist in Saudi Arabia (SCFHS).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutritional counseling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design and adapt nutrition plans to meet diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in documentation and patient record management.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nutritional consultations via the app.

• Prepare personalized nutritional recommendations for each client.

• Document notes after each consultation.

• Commit to the standards of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Qualifications

• Nutrition specialist certified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

• Registered with a freelance license.

• Strong communication skills and ability to use digital platforms.

Important Notes

• Registration is done through our app.

• Freelance/independent work, with only 20% for the app.

• Income is received immediately after each consultation.

• If the specialist is working in a governmental or private entity, they must obtain written approval from their employer before engaging in any activity through the platform, provided that their work with us does not conflict with the policies or obligations of the entity they work for.

  
  

  If the specialist is not currently employed (independent), they can register directly without needing any additional approvals, and it is preferable to have a freelance license to document their official activity.

Nutrition Specialist
A nutrition specialist is required to join our team at the Al-Tarbiyan General Hospital. You will be responsible for developing nutrition and dietary programs for individuals, including patients and healthy individuals.

Job Description:

• Study the nutritional values and calorie counts of different foods and estimate individual needs.
• Prepare dietary programs based on individual nutritional needs.
• Develop working methods according to the latest developments in the field of nutrition.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and reports related to nutrition in the database.
• Ensure the application of public safety principles while performing nutrition tasks.
