About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Finance Manager to lead and oversee all financial operations of our newly established entity in Saudi Arabia, supporting the regional expansion of Kings League MENA. This role will ensure full compliance with local financial and tax regulations while aligning with global standards and reporting requirements. This is a key position with broad responsibilities, ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Financial Control & Compliance: Oversee and manage the relationship with the local outsourced accounting and tax providers to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and tax filings. Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations, ZATCA requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with local GAAP and internal management reporting standards. Deliver management accounts and variance analysis to support business decision-making. Support global finance team with group reporting packages and consolidation processes.
• Process Implementation & Controls: Implement global finance processes, policies, and internal controls within the local context. Act as the finance point of contact for the Saudi Arabia office, supporting operational teams with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Coordinate cash management, payment approvals, and banking relationships in-country.
• Audit & Governance: Lead the local statutory audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
• Ad-Hoc & Strategic Support: Collaborate with other departments (legal, HR, operations) to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or controlling, preferably in a multinational or regional setting.
• Previous experience in audit (Big Four) is a strong plus.
• Experience managing outsourced accounting and tax providers.
• Proficiency in preparing, analyzing management reports and financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s tax and accounting regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cultures and time zones.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Hands-on, independent, and comfortable operating in a start-up or scale-up environment.

Role Purpose
This is a high-impact role responsible for leading and developing our finance function across SEA Ventures Group and affiliated entities. You will ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and SAMA regulations, establish clear financial governance structures, and manage the end-to-end audit process in collaboration with an approved global auditing firm.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will serve as the strategic bridge between operational finance and executive-level planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Finance & Governance
  • Lead the development of financial policies, controls, and SOPs aligned with audit and IPO requirements.
  • Establish clear monthly and quarterly financial reporting cycles for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insight and modeling to support board-level decisions and new business initiatives.
  • Support legal and audit teams with due diligence and financial disclosures.
• Reporting & Compliance
  • Ensure all group entities report financials in line with IFRS and SAMA frameworks.
  • Own the preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
  • Lead the year-end closing process and interface with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax, zakat, and compliance obligations within Saudi Arabia.
• Financial Operations & Oversight
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and mentor in-house and affiliate finance personnel.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and working capital optimization.
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems, ERPs, and automation solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Monitor financial health and recommend improvements for cost control and revenue protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive financial leadership, ideally within holding companies or multi-entity groups.
• Experience managing audits with Big Four or global audit firms.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, SAMA, and KSA tax/zakat regulations.
• Strong command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Expertise in ERP/financial systems, with a preference for Oracle, SAP, or Zoho Books.

• Governance & Risk Management: Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Ensure adherence to corporate policies and ethical standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, legal, sales, HR, and IT. Serve as a key financial advisor to the Group CFO and executive leadership. Represent the finance function in audits, investor meetings, and external engagements.
