Join Our Team as a Barista!
At Raffles Hotel Jeddah, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience to our guests with our outstanding service and high-quality offerings. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to deliver exceptional coffee experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks and specialty coffees.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in managing inventory and placing orders for coffee beans and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Stay updated on coffee trends and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.
• Educate customers about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures of the coffee shop.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a food and beverage role, preferably as a barista.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso-based drinks and alternative brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic Arabic language skills preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
